The Role
What You'll Do.
Followspot ops are the difference between a good show and a great one. You'll take cues from the LD or spot caller, track performers, and deliver clean pickups shot after shot — often from a truss or high perch for hours at a time.
- Track performers with precision and consistency
- Take cues from spot callers or LDs
- Adjust iris, color, and intensity on cue
- Communicate cleanly over comms
- Rig and de-rig spots as needed
The Requirements
What We're Looking For.
- Prior followspot experience preferred
- Comfortable working at height for long calls
- Sharp focus and clear comms discipline
- Physically able to climb truss and catwalks
- Reliable and on time — every time
